Wisconsin (12-0), the only undefeated school from a Power 5 conference, tops the latest Congrove Computer Rankings (CCR Top 130). Sunday morning's newest release only drops a 1-loss Alabama (11-1) team to 2nd, while Clemson (11-1) and Georgia (11-1) take 3rd and 4th.
The computer values strength of schedule, but also places importance on wins and losses. Auburn (10-2), which handed both Georgia and Alabama their only loss, also has a pair of losses to LSU and Clemson that seem to have gotten completely lost in the shuffle. The Tigers sit at No. 10 in the rankings.
Oklahoma stays at 5th this week, while Ohio State climbs 2 spots to 6th. The only other undefeated team in the nation, UCF (11-0), takes 7th. Penn State is 8th, while Miami (FL) drops to 9th.
The CCR Top 130 began in 1993 and are recognized by the NCAA as a National Champion Major Selector in its annual records books.
The Big Ten, PAC-12 and SEC each have four teams in the top 25 while the ACC, American and Big 12 have 3 apiece. The MAC, Mountain West, Independents and Sun Belt have 1 each.
Florida Atlantic is the highest-rated Conference USA team at No. 29.
