For his efforts in the eye-catching win, Beebe earned the Outland Trophy National Player of the Week honor for games during the weekend of Oct. 21, as selected by the Football Writers Association of America.

Isaiah Hankins of Baylor set several career records on Saturday, each of them vital in a 32-29 win over Cincinnati in the first-ever meeting between the schools. The sophomore from Little Rock, Ark. kicked four field goals for the first time and got there the hard way with all four coming from over 40 yards out. He made a pair from 43, a 46-yarder, and set a career-long with a 54-yard kick that opened the game’s scoring. He’s the first Bear with four field goals in a game since 2017.

With the Gophers down 10-3 at the half, the senior from Oak Creek, Wis. controlled the game the rest of the way with kicks from 44 and 28 yards setting up the eventual game-winner from 31. It’s the first time a Minnesota kicker made four in a game since 2016 and provided the Gophers with enough points to win without a touchdown for the first time since 1981.
Jose Pizano of UNLV enters the FBS record books in a tie for the second-most field goals in a single game, going 6-for-6 including the game-winner to top Colorado State 25-23. Campbell, a 6-3, 230-pound sophomore from Erial, N.J., via Florida’s IMG Academy, stood out among Alabama’s stiffening defensive effort. Campbell’s 10 tackles were a career-high and were second among the Tide defenders on the day. He added a tackle for a loss (minus-four yards) and made a fourth-down tackle that gave the Crimson Tide the ball at the Tennessee 34-yard line in the second quarter.
Midway through the fourth quarter with Alabama leading 27-20, fellow linebacker Chris Braswell created a sack-fumble in the Tennessee backfield, which Campbell picked up and returned 24 yards for a touchdown and a two-score lead with 7:26 left. Trailing 20-7 at halftime, the Crimson Tide defense held the Vols to just 129 yards and 33 rushing yards in the second half to spur the comeback.
Campbell is tied for sixth at Alabama with 39 tackles having played in seven of eight games. He has 3.0 TFL’s and a half-sack on the season in addition to the one fumble recovery.
