Week 5 Picks: The Bottom 2 Teams in the CCR Top 130 Clash in Amherst

This is what we've been waiting for! Saturday's slate highlights a matchup of No. 130 Massachusetts hosting No. 129 Akron.

The 55-game schedule begins on Thursday with an American Conference battle in Memphis as the Tigers host the Naval Academy Midshipmen.

A four-pack of contests on Friday features undefeated California (4-0) hosting Arizona State, and Duke visiting Virginia Tech.

Hard-pressed to find a marquee game, the ESPN College GameDay crew will be in Lincoln where Nebraska will likely get its doors blown off by Ohio State. Perhaps a better choice would have been Mississippi State at Auburn, and Virginia at Notre Dame might have been a lock had the Irish defeated Georgia.

Among the 24 teams that are idle this week are Georgia, LSU, Oregon and Texas.

Clemson visits North Carolina, Alabama hosts Ole Miss, and Oklahoma entertains Texas Tech.
