Week 2 Feature Picks

Three games are highlighted in our "Feature Picks" for the second week of this college football season - Duke at Notre Dame, UAB at Miami, and Arkansas State at Kansas State.

At South Bend, it's all about Irish QB Ian Book and an 18-game home winning streak that has us taking Notre Dame to cover in our lone "Easy Pickins' selection. The Irish host Duke on Saturday.

Our other two choices fall under the "Hold Your Horses" category with the underdog expected to cover. The theme in both of those games - UAB at Miami, and Arkansas State at Kansas State - is all about game experience weighing in favor of the visitors.

UAB and Arkansas State both played this past week and we believe that means more than in past seasons. It's been a very disjointed preseason due to Covid and social injustice concerns. Plus, those teams aren't that far apart from their opponent on a talent level.

UAB visits Miami as 14-point underdog on Thursday night, and Arkansas State heads to Kansas State as a 10-point dog on Saturday.
