After a couple of weeks with 10 more upsets projected by the computer, only five are on the board in week 13. Actually, there were 7 but 2 of those games were canceled.
We post every computer upset pick and they haven't performed too shabbily against the spread with a 32-33 mark. As of Wednesday, the upset plays still standing on the schedule are UTAH STATE by 20.28 over New Mexico (-5), Arizona by 3.51 over UCLA (-9.50), GEORGIA TECH by 2.20 over Duke (-1.5), HAWAII by 1.07 over Nevada (-7) and MICHIGAN STATE by 1.44 over Northwestern (-11).
We had four selections this week in the "Easy Pickins" category, but the cancellation of Colorado State-Air Force leave us with 3. For the most part, the "Easy Pickins" haven't been so "easy". Two weeks ago these picks went 6-0, but they were 0-5 last week. Ironically, this category has the lowest historical win percentage ATS.
This week's picks have Iowa, Notre Dame and Louisville all covering as favorites.
Our "Hold Your Horses" picks have largely performed well. Though they went just 4-4 ATS a week ago, they are 36-26 ATS on the season and 22-9 outright.
Our teams to take under the spread this week are Auburn, Texas State, and Mississippi State.
