The Big Ten was severely hurt as a conference on Saturday when Ohio State and Penn State both lost for the second time this season, but Wisconsin did well for itself by thumping Indiana 45-17. The Badgers remain undefeated and moved up to No. 3 in this week's Congrove Computer Rankings, released Sunday morning. Miami (Fla.), which is also still unbeaten, moves up to 4th after a decisive 28-10 victory over Virginia Tech.
Ohio State was crushed 55-24 at Iowa and fell from 3rd to 11th, while Penn State dropped a 27-24 decision at Michigan State to tumble from 5th to 10th.
Clemson moves up from 7th to 5th, followed by Oklahoma at No. 6, Washington at No. 7 and Notre Dame at No. 8.
Unbeaten UCF rises to 9.
The SEC has four teams in the top 25, as does the PAC-12 and Big Ten. The ACC, American and Big 12 each have 3. The Independents have 2 representatives, while the Mountain West and MAC each have 1.
