A week of 60 college football games kicks off early with every MAC team taking the field between Tuesday and Thursday. The ACC gets in on the action Thursday when Pittsburgh hosts North Carolina, and a pair of games on Friday night features Stanford hosting Washington.

Memphis is the only idle team among the playoff committee's top 25 rankings. USF gets added to that list if you're using the Congrove Computer Rankings, Coaches' Poll or AP Poll. No team in the FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll is idle.

Top games to watch include the playoff committee top 25 matchups of Mississippi State at Alabama, Georgia at Auburn, Notre Dame at Miami, TCU at Oklahoma, Oklahoma State at Iowa State, and Michigan State at Ohio State.

Other marquee battles include Florida State at Clemson, Iowa at Wisconsin, Virginia Tech at Georgia Tech, and the aforementioned Washington at Stanford game.
