The computer posted solid numbers last week with a 43-13 (.768) record picking straight up winners and a respectable 31-25 (.554) against the spread. Predicting upsets is never easy but the computer was correct on half of its upset picks and 5-1 against the spread. Over-all, the season marks rose to 76.8% straight up and 51.4% ATS.

There are 112 games on this week's schedule which kicks off with 4 Thursday night games followed by 3 Friday night affairs.

The Friday night line-up includes Florida State visiting Boston College as an 8.20-point favorite in the Congrove Computer Rankings (CCR Top 130). A few weeks ago, this would have been considered a 'gimme' for the 'Noles but they're struggling at 2-4 while the Eagles enter the contest with a hot hand after dispatching Virginia this past Saturday 41-10 and out-pointing Louisville two weeks ago 45-42.

The biggest game of the entire weekend is unquestionably Penn State at Ohio State on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 ET.

Saturday's games also feature the 2017 edition of the Florida-Georgia rivalry in Jacksonville, preceded by the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.

Other games to watch include Washington State at Arizona, Georgia Tech at Clemson, TCU at surging Iowa State, North Carolina State at Notre Dame, and Oklahoma State at West Virginia.

Alabama tops the list of 19 teams taking a bye week.
