USC Tops 2021 Rankings

USC is No. 1 in the FBS Top 130 Congrove Computer Rankings released Thursday afternoon. The Trojans are projected to go undefeated, along with 2nd-ranked Indiana (Big Ten), and No. 3 Miami (ACC).

Iowa State is 4th in the rankings, but the projected Final Four has LSU jumping several teams as the SEC champ with just one loss.

Those are the projected rankings for the end of the regular season.

The opening week rankings (before a single game is played) have the same Top 2, but Wisconsin opens at No. 3 with Iowa State 4th and Miami 5th.

As for last year's final four teams, Alabama opens at No. 8, Clemson 9th, Notre Dame 21st and Ohio State 27th.
