Top 5 Unchanged In CCR Top 130

After a 45-7 home win over Tennessee, Alabama keeps the top spot in the Congrove Computer Rankings (CCR Top 130) for the 5th consecutive week, maintaining its lead over a trio of Big Ten teams. Penn State, Wisconsin and Ohio State continue to hold the 2-through-4 positions while Georgia remains in 5th.

The Buckeyes and 'Dawgs were idle this weekend while the Nittany Lions and Badgers joined Alabama with decisive victories.

Penn State crushed Michigan 42-13, and Wisconsin shut down Maryland 38-13.

TCU, a 43-0 winner over Kansas, trades places with Miami in the battle for 6th and 7th. Clemson, USF and Virginia Tech round out the top ten.

The ACC has 5 teams in the Top 25, followed by the SEC, Big Ten and PAC-12 with 4 each, the Big 12 and American with 3 apiece, and the MAC with 1.

San Diego State had been the lone Mountain West member in the top 25, but the Aztecs lost their second consecutive home game this weekend as Fresno State administered a 27-3 beat-down.
