The new Congrove Computer Rankings, released shortly after the completion of the final weekend game, still has Ohio State at the top. But the Buckeyes are now followed by arch-rival Michigan which knocks Georgia to 3rd while Tennessee remains 4th.
However CollegeFootballPoll.com's Dave Congrove has a completely different take on how the College Football Playoff Committee will assess the teams when the first rankings are revealed on Tuesday night. He says to look for Tennessee at the top spot, TCU in 2nd, Ohio State 3rd and Georgia 4th. Michigan and Alabama are his first two out.
Meanwhile, the computer rankings have Alabama switching places with Clemson for 5th and 6th with the Tide moving up. TCU stays at No. 7.
The rest of the top ten has Oregon 8th, Ole Miss 9th and UNC breaking in at No. 10.
Results of the weekend saw Ohio State needing to rally from a 21-16 deficit in the 4th quarter for a 44-31 win at Penn State, Michigan defeat Michigan State 29-7 in the Big House, Georgia thump Florida 42-20 in Jacksonville, and Tennessee throttle Kentucky 44-6 in Knoxville
Meanwhile, TCU won 41-31 at West Virginia, Oregon was idle, Ole Miss dropped Texas A&M to 3-5 with a 31-28 win at College Station, and UNC pounded Pittsburgh 42-24 in Chapel Hill.
Last week's No. 8 team, Oklahoma State, was demolished 48-0 at Kansas State, and then-No. 10 Wake Forest contributed to its own demise with 8 second-half turnovers in a 48-21 loss at Louisville.
Illinois makes a huge jump from 17th to 11th this week, while idle Utah takes 12th.
Kansas State makes an 11-spot move from 24 to 13, while Oklahoma State and Wake Forest settle in at 14th and 15th, respectively.
Some notes from this week's rankings -
- The SEC has 3 members in the top 9, but another doesn't how up until you get down the list to 25th-ranked LSU.

- The top five is monopolized by the B1G and SEC.

- Independent Notre Dame moves up to 30, and fellow independent Liberty is now at No. 33.
