Latest Coaching Changes: Cincinnati/Louisville, Liberty/Coastal Carolina, USF, North Texas, Colorado

The coaching carousel continues to spin. Louisville became a new rider on Monday (December 5) when it was announced that Scott Satterfield took the Cincinnati job that was vacated by Luke Fickell when he left for Wisconsin to replace Paul Chryst who was fired. This move is made more interesting by the upcoming Fenway Bowl matchup between the Cardinals and Bearcats. Cincinnati has an interim head coach in place for the game. We've yet to see what Louisville plans to do about that.

Sunday, December 4 was a busy day as Liberty hired Coastal Carolina's head coach Jamey Chadwell and Coastal Carolina didn't miss a beat before naming NC State offensive coordinator Tim Beck tom replace Chadwell.

Also on Sunday, USF announced Tennessee offensive coordinator and 2022 Broyles Award finalist  (top assistant) Alex Golesh as the official replacement for Jeff Scott who was fired on November 6.

North Texas made a move on Sunday, as well, by firing Seth Littrell. That move came two days after Littrell led the team to the Conference USA Championship where the Mean Green lost 48-27 at UTSA.

The weekend began with Saturday's announcement that Deion Sanders was leaving Jackson State for Colorado. That move was made official after Sanders' team won the SWAC Championship game. He is staying with Jackson State through the Celebration Bowl on December 17.
