April 29-May 1 - NFL Draft
June - College players voluntary workouts - Generally cover a 28-day period within the month of June
August 7 (on or about) - Team Practice begins 4 weeks prior to first game. For most teams, that will mean on or about August 7.
August 28 - Officially week "zero" - a term we think is silly. Just call it week 1, for goodness sake. The 2021 season starts on this date with the following games:

UConn at Fresno State
Hawaii at UCLA
Nebraska at Illinois
UTEP at New Mexico State
FBS vs. FCS:
Southern Utah at San Jose State
FCS:
North Carolina Central vs. Alcorn State (at Atlanta)

November 9: FBS - First College Football Playoff Committee Rankings
November 21: FCS - NCAA will announce playoff field of 24 teams
November 27: FCS - playoff begins
December 5: FBS - Selection Sunday for bowl games and Final Four announcements
December 11: FBS - Army vs Navy at East Rutherford. First time at this location since 2002, and fifth in series history.
December 18: FBS - Expect date of first bowl game for 2021-2022 season
December 31: FBS - Cotton and Orange Bowl playoff semifinal games
January 8: FCS - Championship at Frisco, Texas
January 10: FBS - CFP National Championship at Indianapolis
