The Georgia Bulldogs are the preseason No. 1 team to beat, according to the US LBM Coaches Poll. Georgia received 46 first-place votes for team who finished 13-1 and won the Capital One Orange Bowl in dominant fashion to end the 2023 season.
Ohio State, who received seven first place votes, comes in at the No. 2 spot. Oregon, Texas and Alabama round out the top five. Defending national champion Michigan will start the season at No. 8 and received one first place vote.
