NOTE: CollegeFootballPoll.com's Dave Congrove is among the voters.
The weekly FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll, voted on by a panel of football writers and college football Hall Of Fame members, was released Monday morning and has Alabama maintaining the lead over Georgia with 49 first-place votes. Two other SEC teams - Georgia and LSU - each garnered a single first-place vote.
The only change among the top 6 was a flip of Ohio State and Clemson at 3rd and 4th with the Buckeyes leaping over the Tigers.
Alabama breezed to a 56-14 win over Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday, and Georgia crushed Tennessee 38-12. Meanwhile, Clemson avoided the upset bid by Syracuse by rallying late for a 27-23 win, and Ohio State also came back to edge Penn State 27-26.
Interestingly, Penn State didn't relinquish any ground with the poll voters in spite of the loss. The Nittany Lions entered the week at No. 8 and remain in that spot this week.
Stanford, on the other hand, entered the week at No. 7 but tumbled to 13th with its 38-17 loss at Notre Dame. The victorious Irish rose from 9th to 7th.
Not a single top-16 team from the previous week dropped out of the poll.
The SEC once again leads all conferences with five teams in the poll. The Big Ten has four, and the Big 12 and Pac-12 have two each. The American, ACC and Independents each have one.
No. 1 Alabama at Arkansas; Vanderbilt at No. 2 Georgia; Indiana at No. 3 Ohio State; No. 4 Clemson at Wake Forest; No. 5 LSU at Florida; No. 6 Oklahoma vs. Texas (Dallas); No. 7 Notre Dame at Virginia Tech; No. 9 Auburn at Mississippi State; No. 10 Washington at UCLA; Kansas at No. 11 West Virginia; SMU at No. 12 UCF; Utah at No. 13 Stanford; No. 14 Kentucky at Texas A&M; Maryland at No. 15 Michigan; Nebraska at No. 16 Wisconsin.

The poll was established at the conclusion of the 2013 season by long-time partners, the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) and the National Football Foundation (NFF). Voters rank the top 16 teams in the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision, and the results will be released every Monday of the 2018 season; the individual votes of all members will also be made public. The pollsters consist of FWAA writers and College Football Hall of Famers who were selected to create a balanced-geographical perspective.
