Feature Picks For Week 8

The Congrove Computer Rankings at CollegeFootballPoll.com are projecting 9 outright upsets and we've also selected an additional 7 games under the "Easy Pickins" and "Hold Your Horses" categories.

Last week, the computer was just 1-2 against the spread on upsets picks, but is still 9-4 ATS over the last 3 weeks.

This week's opposites are Syracuse at home over Pitt (Friday), Hawaii at home over Air Force, Ball State at home over Tulane, Duke on the road over Virginia, South Carolina at home over Florida, Kansas State at home over Texas Christian,Southern Miss on the road over Louisiana Tech, USF on the road over Navy, and Virginia Tech at home over North Carolina.

We've selected three games in the Easy Pickins category, including Oregon at Washington.

The four games in the Hold Your Horses selections are highlighted by Michigan at Penn State.

We compare the sportsbooks' average spread with the computer's projection, and feature those games where we believe the computer has the best chance of being right. When it comes to the Upset picks, we list every game that the computer picks the opposite team of the 'Vegas' favorite. The computer's upset picks have hit 65% against the spread (98-52) since the second week of November of 2017.
