The College Football Playoff Committee says Ohio State is No. 1, which flies in the face of every voter poll, as well as the Congrove Computer Rankings at CollegeFootballPoll.com. The voter polls (AP, Coaches and Super 16) all have Georgia at the top and have done so since the preseason. The computer says Michigan is #1 and has also done so since the preseason.

In the computer rankings, Michigan is 4.80 power points above the No. 2 team, Florida State. They are 5.90 power points ahead of their B1G rival Ohio State which is 3rd in the computer rankings, and 7.50 points ahead of the pollsters' No. 1 Bulldogs whom the computer ranks 4th.
The top six are unchanged in the computer rankings. Washington and Oregon complete the top 6 and appear to be on course to meet for a second time this season in the PAC-12 Championship game.
The shakeup occurs from 7 and below with Penn State up a spot to take Texas' place at 7th after the Longhorns drop to 9th and Alabama moves up one to 8th.
Ole Miss stays at No. 10.
Tennessee jumps from 16th to 11th, Louisville rockets up to 12th from 18th, Utah climbs from 19th to 13th, James Madison leaps from 23rd to 14th, and North Carolina rises from 22nd to 15th.
All of those upward moves were aided by teams that went in the opposite direction. LSU fell from 11th to 16th, Kansas State from 13th to 19th, Notre Dame from 12th to 21st, Oklahoma from 15th to 22nd, and Air Force from 14th to 23rd.
A total of 7 teams remain undefeated after Air Force fell from those ranks.

The SEC leads all conferences with 6 teams in the Top 25, followed by the B1G, Big 12 and PAC-12 with 4 each. The ACC has 3,
Four spots belong to teams outside of the Power 5 Conferences with 1 Independent, and 1 each from the American, Mountain West and Sun Belt.
