FBS Computer Rankings Not All That Different

Florida State moves up to No. 3 while Michigan continues to top the Congrove Computer Rankings at CollegeFootballPoll.com.  Ohio State only slips one spot to 4th for its narrow loss at Michigan, while Georgia hangs on to 2nd place. That leaves a pair of 1-loss PAC-12 teams, Washington and Oregon, dangling at 5th and 6th.

The Ducks jumped Alabama as the Tide goes from 6th to 7th, just ahead of the Texas team the Tide lost to earlier in the year. Penn State stays in 9th while Missouri jumps two spots to 10th.

Tulane is the top school from a Group of Five conference at No. 14, putting the Green Wave in-line for a New Year's Six Bowl bid for the second straight season, so long as the playoff committee agrees.  James Madison ranks 15th, but the Dukes have been repeatedly ruled ineligible for such an honor. SMU is 17th in the rankings, undefeated Liberty is 19th, Toledo is 20th and Troy 22nd.
