November 7, 2021 by Staff

Ohio State's 26-17 win Nebraska wasn't any more impressive than Alabama's 20-14 win over LSU, but it was enough for the Buckeyes to out-point the Tide by 0.36 points in the latest Congrove Computer Rankings and take 3rd place behind Georgia and Oklahoma.

Georgia has a 3.99-point lead over the Sooners, and Oklahoma has a 3.26-point lead on the Buckeyes.

Cincinnati, which barely survived a home date with Tulsa, clings to fifth-place, just ahead of Michigan, while Oklahoma State, Notre Dame, Oregon and Wake Forest hold the 7 through 10 spots, in that order.

Wake only fell from 6th to 10th with its 58-55 loss at North Carolina which knocked the Demon Deacons from the unbeaten ranks.

Michigan State plunged from 7th to 13th after falling 40-29 at Purdue for its first loss of the season.

Undefeated UTSA rises to No. 11.
