Tulane enters the US LBM Coaches Poll for the first time this season after beating Navy, 35-0. This was the Green Wave’s first shutout of a conference opponent since 1960, and the victory solidified Tulane’s spot in the American Athletic Conference title game. The Green Wave are ranked No. 20 in the Coaches Poll with a 9-2 record.
The top five looks a little different this week after Tennessee’s loss to Georgia. The Vols drop from 4 to 11 while the Bulldogs move up to the eighth spot. Oregon, Ohio State and Texas are still the top three, with Penn State and Indiana now rounding out the top five.
