Ohio State knocked Oklahoma out of first-place in this week's Congrove Computer Rankings at CollegeFootballPoll.com. The Sooners slipped to 3rd after an overtime win vs. Army, while the Buckeyes were an easy winner vs. Tulane. Alabama moved up to 2nd while Clemson and Penn State stayed at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively.

Notre Dame inched up a spot to 6th while Georgia gained 2 spots to check in at No. 7.

Stanford, Michigan and Michigan State round out the top 10.

Washington has clawed its way up to 11th after its opening weekend loss to Auburn put the Huskies at No. 16.

Duke is the surprising 12th-ranked team. The Blue Devils welcome a wounded Virginia Tech team to Durham for their next opponent.

Auburn, LSU and Wisconsin fill spots 13 through 15, while Kentucky surges 7 spots to No. 26.

The Southeastern Conference this week keeps 8 representatives in the Top 25, followed by the ACC and the Big Ten with 5 each, the Big 12 with 4, and the PAC-12 with 2. Notre Dame is the lone member of the Top 25 that doesn't have a Power 5 conference affiliation.

The highest-ranked Group of Five school is still Mountain West member Boise State at No 29. UCF tops all American Conference teams at No. 38 while North Texas is the top CUSA entrant at No. 35. Buffalo takes the lead among all MAC squads at No. 55, and Appalachian State outranks all the other Sun Belt teams at No. 60.
