Other major movements show LSU down from 5 to 14, and Clemson down from 9 to 21.
TCU and Texas Tech fall completely out of the poll. The Horned Frogs were 16th and the Red Raiders 24th in the preseason poll.
Duke and Colorado enter the rankings at Nos. 24 and 25 after scoring upsets of Clemson and TCU, respectively.
The poll is conducted by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA).
