CCR Preseason Top 130 Puts FSU, Ohio State on Top

Where will your team be at the end of the regular season? The Congrove Computer Rankings has Florida State on top, followed by a trio of Big Ten schools. Ironically, 3 other Big Ten schools ranks in the bottom 13.

Ohio State takes 2nd, followed by Wisconsin and Penn State. The bottom half of the rankings find Rutgers (118), Purdue (124) and Illinois (128).

The last time we saw the Buckeyes, Urban Meyer's men were getting shelled 31-0 by Clemson in last year's college football playoff semifinal game at the Fiesta Bowl.

And what about the defending champion Tigers? They're still in the hunt with their only loss forecast to occur at home to FSU by less than a point.

Naturally, Alabama is a front-runner as well. The only projected loss for the Tide is also at the hands of the 'Noles in Atlanta in the Saturday, September 2nd Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at the brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
