SEC juggernaut Alabama is No. 1 for the 4th straight week in the Congrove Computer Rankings (CCR Top 130). The rankings were released Sunday afternoon following the conclusion of the Akron-Western Michigan game which was washed out Saturday by heavy rains in Kalamazoo. Three Big Ten teams follow the Tide with Penn State staying at No.2 while Wisconsin moves up to 3rd, just ahead of Ohio State. Another SEC team, Georgia, slides into 5th.
Miami climbs from 9th to 6th, and TCU rises from 10th to 7th. Clemson drops from 3rd to 8th, while USF takes the 9th spot and Oklahoma moves up to 10th.
Washington plummets from 5th to 12th, and Washington State falls from 8th to 17th. Auburn drops from 13th to 20th.
The ACC has 5 teams in the Top 25, followed by the SEC, Big Ten and PAC-12 with 4 each. The Big 12 has 3, all between 7th and 11th. The American takes 2 spots, and the MAC and MWC have 1 apiece.
