Oklahoma State’s Ollie Gordon II rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns to give the Cowboys a 27-24 victory over their arch-rival Oklahoma in the final Bedlam rivalry game, based on the future published schedules of both teams. Gordon gave host Oklahoma State the lead for good on a one-yard touchdown run with eight minutes left to go in the game.

The victory launched the Cowboys to No. 17 in this week’s US LBM Coaches Poll, but the Sooners only dropped to No. 16. Oklahoma State is now tied with Texas for the lead in the Big 12 Conference.

The poll is sponsored by US LBM, which is the largest privately owned, full-line distributor of specialty building materials in the United States.
