AFCA Coaches' Poll: Indiana Off To Best Start Since 1967

October 27, 2024 by AFCA.com and CollegeFootballPoll.com Staff

With a 31-17 win over Washington, Indiana is 8-0 for only the second time in program history, and the first time since 1967. The Hoosiers, who rank No. 13 in this week’s US LBM Coaches Poll, are the only FBS program to not allow a first quarter point so far in 2024.

Nothing changed with the top six teams with Oregon still remaining No. 1.

Texas A&M erased a 17-7 halftime deficit to beat LSU, 38-23. The Aggies jump to the 11th spot while the Tigers fall nine places to 16. Notre Dame took advantage of six Navy turnovers to win easily, 51-14, and move into the top 10 in 9th place.
