A Look Ahead to the 2022 NFL Season

The dust may have only just settled on the 2021 NFL campaign. The LA Rams picked up their second ever Super Bowl success with a win over the Cincinnati Bengals at the start of February and all players involved will be taking whatever opportunity they can to rest and recuperate.

The respite will be brief as preparation will shortly begin ahead of the next campaign. The draft will follow while predictions are already in with regards to a likely winner of Super Bowl LVII.

Rams Drive it Home

The LA Rams were solid throughout the regular season but few observers were marking them down as likely NFL Champions at that point. Having gone through 2020 with a 10-6 record, there was a significant improvement as Head Coach Sean McVay’s side returned numbers of 12-5.

That record was enough to secure the NFC West title as the Rams took their place in the playoffs once again. From that point, the LA franchise would go on to claim the Conference title before lifting their first Super Bowl trophy since 1999 and the second in their history.

It was a tight affair and a final scoreline of 23-20 over the Bengals offers a hint at the drama during that game. Ultimately, the Rams came through but can they repeat that success in 2022/23?
