2021 Southeastern Conference Schedules

The Southeastern Conference has announced the football schedules for all 14 SEC schools for the 2021 season.

The SEC played 69 of 71 scheduled games in a revamped 10-game, Conference-only schedule employed in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 virus.

"We are proud to have completed the 2020 football season under unique circumstances and will now focus on playing the 2021 football season as scheduled," said SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey. Alabama went undefeated and claimed the 2020 national championship with a 52-24 rout of Ohio State in the College Football Playoff Championship game on Monday, January 11 in Miami Gardens. It's the 11th national championship for the SEC in the last 15 seasons.

It's the 6th title for Nick Saban with Alabama, tying the school mark of Paul Williams "Bear" Bryant. But it's Saban's 7th over-all, putting him on top of the mountain among all college football coaches in national titles in the poll era (since 1936). It's the 15th national championship for Alabama over-all, and 13th since 1961.

With 13 playing weekends, the 2021 schedule includes one open date for each team and conference contests scheduled each week beginning in Week Two. french online casinos.

Each SEC team will play eight conference football games to include six games against division opponents and two games against non-division opponents. One of the non-division opponents will be a permanent annual opponent and the other non-division opponent will rotate each year.

The season begins Labor Day weekend with 14 games, including three neutral site games when Alabama will face Miami in Atlanta, and Georgia will tackle Clemson in Charlotte. Both of those games are scheduled for Saturday. A third game on Monday will also take place in Atlanta with Ole Miss facing Louisville.

The 2021 season will culminate with the SEC Championship Game in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Saturday, December 4. It will be the 30th edition of the game and the 28th in the city of Atlanta.
