Sacramento State stays at No. 2, followed by South Dakota State and Incarnate Word as the top 4 remain as they were a week ago.
The top 3 teams all played on the road with Tigers scoring a 41-14 win at Texas Southern, the Hornets edging Weber State 33-30 and the Jackrabbits prevailing 31-28 at Northern Iowa.
The 4th-ranked Cardinals hosted Houston Christian and romped to a 73-20 win.
Princeton fell from 5th to 7th, despite a 17-14 victory over Dartmouth, making way for Montana State and Holy Cross to each move up a notch. The Bobcats were 41-13 winners at Northern Arizona, and the Crusaders dropped Lehigh 42-14 in Worcester.
North Dakota State inched upward from 9th to 8th after a 56-17 stroll at Western Illinois, while Weber State only fell one spot to 9th with the home loss to Sacramento State.
Samford, Mercer and William & Mary remain at 10 through 12, in that order. The Bulldogs overcame an early deficit before pulling out a 34-15 win at home over VMI, while the Bears were idle and the Tribe won 20-14 at Hampton.
