Sam Houston State Jumps North Dakota State To Reclaim Top Spot In Computer Rankings

Defending national champion Sam Houston State has wrested the top spot away by a razor thin margin from North Dakota State in the new FCS Congrove Computer Rankings, released early Sunday morning. The Bearkats lead the Bison by 0.29 power points. Along with Princeton, they are the only remaining undefeated teams in the Championship Subdivision.

Eastern Washington dropped from 3rd to 6th, paving the way for James Madison's move from 4th to 3rd, and Montana State's climb from 5th to 4th.

SE Louisiana made a 4-spot move from 9th to 5th, and Villanova leapt from 11th to 7th.

Princeton moves into the 8-hole after a 5-overtime, 18-16 victory over Harvard. The Tigers lead the series 58-48-7 at best online casinos au.

while Southern Illinois and Kennesaw State round out the top ten.

Sam Houston State was a 42-7 winner  over Jacksonville State while North Dakota State fought off Missouri State to claim a 27-20 victory.

Eastern Washington saw its 20-game home winning streak come to an end with a 35-34 upset loss to Weber State, and James Madison downed Delaware 22-10,

SE Louisiana clobbered Northwestern State (La.) 51-14; Villanova blanked Rhode Island 44-0, and Princeton escaped Harvard 18-16 in a 5 overtime extension.

Southern Illinois was idle, and Kennesaw State rolled 30-7 at Campbell.

The top ten spots are filled by teams from seven different conferences with MVFC, CAA and Big Sky each having two representatives.

The second ten starts off with UC Davis, followed by a tumbling South Dakota State which fell from 6th after bowing to Northern Iowa at home.

Montana, Jackson State and Praire View A&M all rose on the strength of victories to claim positions 13 through 15, respectively.

Dartmouth dropped from 7th to 16th after getting blanked at home, 19-0, by Columbia. The Lions have been one of the biggest surprises in college football as they've gone from preseason expectations of 2 wins to an actual record of 5-1.

ETSU, Sacramento State, Harvard and Incarnate Word round out the top 20.

The The Bottom Ten spots are filled by teams from ten different conferences. The countdown from 10th-worst to worst begins Western Illinois (MVFC) at 119, followed by Butler (Pioneer), Southern Utah (Big Sky), Dixie State (WAC), Eastern Illinois (OVC), Houston Baptist (Southland), Bethune-Cookman (SWAC), Lehigh (Patriot), Wagner (NEC) and Morgan State (MEAC).
