Montana State is No. 1 in the FCS Computer Rankings

Then-No. 5 North Dakota State took back the Dakota Marker on Saturday with a 13-9 win over then-No. 1 South Dakota State in the Fargodome. But it's Montana State that ascends to the top spot in the new FCS Congrove Computer Rankings at CollegeFootballPoll.com. The rankings released early Sunday morning after the completion of the last game to final - Sacramento State's 51-48 double-OT win over Weber State.

Montana State was a 44-14 winner at Portland State and is just one of two remaining undefeated teams in the FCS. Dartmouth is the other after the Mean Green knocked off CCSU 20-16.

The Bison land at No. 3,and the Jackrabbits fall to 4th. South Dakota stays in second place after the Coyotes took a 27-17 win at Youngstown State.

Delaware drops just one spot, from 4th to 5th, upon losing 28-9 at Richmond. The Spiders jump 5 notches to 18th.

UC Davis is 6th, followed by Montana, Missouri State, Tarleton State and Southeast Missouri.
