James Madison Keeps Steady Hold Of No. 1 in FCS Computer Rankings

A 37-24 win at then-No. 14 Weber State helped James Madison keep a commanding lead in the FCS Congrove Computer Rankings at CollegeFootballPoll.com. But there's a new tenant is the No. 2 spot as North Dakota State swaps places with idle Sam Houston State.

The Dukes have 4 a 4.29-point rating edge over the Bison.

Montana remains in 4th, but UC Davis jumps from 10th to 5th.

South Dakota State inches up one spot to 6thm ahead of Montana State, Alabama A&M, Villanova and Southern Illinois.

Only 19 of the 128 FCS schools are undefeated, and 14 of those are ranked among the top 23 teams.
