The Ivy League membership continues to be the same 8 schools that have participated in the conference since its official creation in 1954.
The member institutions are:
Brown
Columbia
Cornell
Dartmouth
Harvard
Pennsylvania
Princeton
Yale
Dartmouth, which boasts the smallest student body of all of the conference members, has won the most Ivy League football titles with 21, followed by Harvard, Penn and Yale at 18 each. Princeton owns 13 conference crowns while Brown (4), Cornell (3) and Columbia (1).
The 2023 title was a 3-way tie behind the Big Green, the Crimson, and the Bulldogs as all three finished with a league record of 5-2.
The Ivy League schools do not participate in the FCS Playoffs and, despite the fact that an extra calendar week permits FCS teams to schedule a 12th game instead of the normal 11, the Ivy League schools all stand pat on allowing just 10 games to be played.
