December 25, 1907: Louisiana State beat the University of Havana 56-0 at Havana, Cuba.
December 26, 1925: West beat East 7-0 at San Francisco in the first Shrine All-Star Classic.
December 27, 1971: Arizona State beat Florida State, 45-38, in the first Fiesta Bowl.
December 31, 1973: In a match of teams ranked #1 and #2 nationally, Notre Dame edged Alabama, 24-23, in the Sugar Bowl.
