OKLAHOMA STATE (-29) by 33.57 over Kansas - Kansas' only other away game resulted in a 42-point loss at Georgia Tech 66-24. The Cowboys' No. 3 offense faces the Jayhawks' No. 119 defense.

VIRGINIA TECH (-6) by 12.20 over Miami, Fla. - The computer is 4-1 SU, 3-1 ATS with Virginia Tech. It's 3-1 SU, 2-2 ATS with Miami. The 'Canes are 2-6 in their last 8 visits to Blacksburg.

PURDUE (-10) by 14.35 over Minnesota - The computer is 2-1 ATS with the Boilermakers and 3-1 with the Golden Gophers.

Illinois (-14) by 12.73 over INDIANA - Illinois has played the role of the Cardiac Kids with 3 straight 3-point victories over Arizona State, Western Michigan and Northwestern - all at home. The Illini's first road trip is to face an Indiana team that has four losses by a total of 19 points. The computer is 5-0 SU, 4-0 ATS with Illinois. It's 4-1 SU, 3-1 ATS with the Hoosiers.

NORTHERN ILLINOIS (-18.5) by 9.64 over Kent State - The computer is nowhere near agreement on the margin of this game and it's 3-1 ATS with the Huskies. However, it's 1-3 ATS with the Golden Flashes.
Northern Illinois won 40-10. The computer won SU, lost ATS.

SOUTH CAROLINA (-20.5) by 15.24 over Kentucky - The Gamecocks haven't put this much distance between themselves and anyone they've played all year. The computer is 4-1 SU and ATS with Gamecocks. It's 4-1, 3-2 with the Wildcats.
South Carolina won 54-3. The computer won SU, lost ATS.

NAVY (-4.5) by 0.35 over Southern Miss - Navy has two straight losses - at South Carolina and at home to Air Force - by a total of 4 points. Southern Miss won at Virginia but inexplicably lost at Marshall. The Golden Eagles rank 11th nationally against the run. The computer is 4-0 SU, 2-1 ATS with Navy. It's 4-1 SU, 3-1 ATS with Southern Miss.
Southern Miss won 63-35. The computer lost SU, won ATS.

NEBRASKA (-10) by 8.42 over Ohio State - RB Dan Herron and WR Devier Posey are suspended for this game for getting paid too much for too little work in their summer jobs. Both players had already missed the first five games as part of the NCAA's TattooGate investigation. But the Buckeyes, ranked 108th on offense, have other weapons (if they can figure out how to use them) and the defense ranks 13th. Nebraska ranks just 64th on defense and 48th on offense. The computer is 5-0 SU, 3-1 ATS with Nebraska. It's 4-1, 2-3 with Ohio State. The Buckeyes won the only two previous meetings way back in 1955-1956.

Pitt (-6) by 1.38 over RUTGERS - The computer's PMOV (Projected margin of victory) still favors Pitt but it has dropped by more than 3.5 points since the preseason. The Panther defense ranks 94th and the offense only ranks 60th. The Scarlet Knights rank 22nd on defense but a woeful 102nd on offense.
Rutgers won 34-10. The computer lost SU, won ATS.

Tcu (-6) by 2.47 over SAN DIEGO STATE - Hard to believe that TCU only ranks 90th in total defense after finishing 1st in that statistical category each of the last three years. San Diego State RB Ronnie Hillman is the nation's second-leading rusher with 151.5 yards per game, including 109 in the Aztecs' lone loss at Michigan.
TCU won 27-14. The computer won SU, lost ATS.

Texas A&M (-6.5) by 5.30 over TEXAS TECH - Despite being 4-0 and ranked 10th in the CCR Top 120, the Red Raiders are the computer underdog at home to Texas A&M. The Aggies have demonstrated a bizarre inability to play the second half by blowing back-to-back halftime leads of 17 and 18 points. The computer is 4-0 SU, 2-1 ATS with Texas Tech., It's 2-2 SU and ATS with A&M.
Texas A&M won 45-40. The computer won SU, won ATS.

UCLA (-5.5) by 3.61 over Washington State - Don't be surprised if Washington State is the outright winner. The Cougars are averaging over 515 yards of offense per game and the Bruins rank 97th on defense.
UCLA won 28-25. The computer won SU, won ATS.

UTAH by 2.27 over Arizona State (-3) - QB Jordan Wynn out 2-3 weeks for Utah and no computer adjustment made for his absence. The computer is 2-2 SU with Utah and 4-1 with ASU.
Arizona State won 35-14. The computer lost SU, lost ATS.

LOUISIANA-MONROE by 5.04 over Arkansas State (-2.5) - UL-M was an 11.46-point computer favorite in the preseason so the computer's projected margin of victory has dropped considerably which weighs in Arkansas State's favor. That said, the computer is 4-0 SU with UL-M and 5-0 with Arkansas State. It's also 4-0 ATS with the Red Wolves, but just 1-2 with the Warhawks.
Arkansas State won 24-19. The computer lost SU, lost ATS.

MIAMI, OHIO by 7.44 over Army (-1) - The projected MAC East frontrunners have been a major disappointment as they enter this game with an 0-4 record overall, 0-1 in the MAC. But the visiting Black Knights are only 2-3 overall and have lost both previous road trips to MAC schools Northern Illinois and Ball State by 23 points or more.
Miami, Ohio won 35-28. The computer won SU, won ATS.

IDAHO by 2.95 over Louisiana Tech (-5) - The computer 4-1 SU, 2-2 ATS with the Bulldogs. It's 3-2 SU, but just 1-3 ATS with the Vandals. Both schools have yet to defeat an FBS team and are tied for last in the WAC with records of 1-4 overall, 0-1 in conference play.
