Auburn won 20-14 at Kansas State to open the 4th week of the 2014 college football season on Thursday, and USF edged UConn 17-14 on Friday. The 55-game Friday schedule has a fun mixed bag of conference clashes and intersectional matchups, including Florida-Alabama, Clemson-Florida State, North Carolina-East Carolina, Mississippi State-LSU, Miami-Nebraska, Utah-Michigan, and Oklahoma-West Virginia. Early Saturday, Georgia Tech capitalized on Virginia Tech turnovers to win 27-24 on a last-second field goal.
